Mr. Honey Do Services NWI provides free on-site assessments and written estimates. You will be notified by text of your agreed-upon appointment time and date and updated when your technician is actually on the way to your appointment. The business was founded by Dale and Justin Dahlgren, a father and son team. Dale is the Head Handyman and Field Team Manager. Justin is the Lead Technician when he is working with us. Sometimes he’s not, such as when he joined the U. S. Marine Corps in 2018. Dolores “Dee” Dahlgren and Dale have been life and business partners for many years. Dee is the Office/Business Manager. They live in Portage with their dogs Diesel and Stella, and when business permits they enjoy traveling.

Dale is originally from Portage and has plenty of experience in the construction and handyman fields. At the age of 13, Dale began working part-time cleaning up building sites. By the age of 18, he had earned his Certificate of Apprenticeship in Building Trades. For the next 3 years, he traveled throughout the US building Little Caesars Pizza franchises. Dale also attended Ivy Tech for A/C, Electronics, and MMC for Real Estate and Business. When he was 21, Dale moved to AZ and for the next two decades he was the Project Manager in the Microchip Industry for Intel & Motorola. Recently, Dale and Dee have relocated back to Portage to continue managing Mr. Honey Do NWI.

Dale began building Mr. Honey Do and Blinds Too with his son Justin in 2009 while still consulting for Intel. Ultimately he retired from Intel and devoted his heart to Mr. Honey Do and Blinds Too full-time in 2014. This eventually separated into two companies that he still owns: Mr. Honey Do Services and Divine Window Fashions. The business was started with just Dale and Justin doing odd jobs around the valley but has now grown into a team of 5 handymen. Dale loves adding value to your property and takes pride in how good it looks after it is repaired or upgraded. He finds it to be very productive and satisfying work, as do all of our field technicians.

As the Business Manager, Dee is responsible for customer service, scheduling, all office administration functions, and assisting with the hiring of field technicians. In addition to skills testing, drug tests, and background checks, she is especially conscious of only hiring talented technicians with whom she feels comfortable in the room. That is one of the most important criteria, as we also want you to feel the same comfort and trust as we come to fix your home.
